Kelly actually found me through another wedding I photographed at Maumee Bay Brewing Co., and when we first talked, we just clicked instantly. She's absolutely amazing, and then I got to meet Wes at their engagement session and totally understood why they work so perfectly together. They have this incredible balance and harmony that you don't see every day.

I actually got a preview of what their wedding day would be like when I photographed Chris and Elizabeth's gorgeous December wedding, some of their best friends, so I got to see this amazing group in action. That's where I got my first glimpse of Wes's legendary dance floor moves, and I knew their day would be absolutely unforgettable.

Kelly was the most stunning vintage glam bride, and she had planned every single detail of this day to perfection. Everything was gorgeous and thoughtfully executed. Their sweet ceremony at church was beautiful and intimate, setting the perfect tone for the celebration to follow.

Then we got to continue the party at Maumee Bay Brewing Co., which honestly always provides the best party vibes. The atmosphere there is just infectious, and it was the perfect backdrop for Kelly and Wes's reception. I got to see lots of familiar faces on the dance floor this time around - this group seriously knows how to party! We even squeezed in a quick stop at my absolute favorite date night spot in Toledo - Bellwether by Toledo Spirits - for some photos. But honestly, the real party was happening on the party bus. Their energy was incredible (and they had a 40 pack of chicken mcnuggets and a drink machine)!

But, what made this day extra special were the heartfelt moments woven throughout the celebration. There were beautiful moments of remembrance for those who weren't there physically but were absolutely there in spirit. The most touching was a gorgeous rendition of "Over the Rainbow" dedicated to Wes's mom. There wasn't a dry eye in the place, and it was such a beautiful way to honor her memory.

Kelly and Wes created a day that perfectly reflected who they are as a couple - fun, thoughtful, and surrounded by people who love them deeply. From the boho glamour to the heartfelt tributes, every moment and detail felt authentic and meaningful.
