Jennifer and Mike's wedding at the McIntyre was one of those days that just felt meant to be from start to finish.

These two have such a sweet story - they actually went to elementary school together and reconnected years later. The rest, as they say, is history.

Jennifer joked a lot leading up to the wedding about how Mike was really the one who wanted to get married. She didn't think she needed the formalities, didn't think she needed the piece of paper. But then she saw the McIntyre, and she knew. She knew this was where she was going to get married. It was everything they dreamed of - so stunning and beautiful that she felt it was meant to be.

And you know what? It truly was perfect.

The day itself was intimate and beautiful. Their friends and families were so wonderful, with . many traveling quite a ways to celebrate with them. The McIntyre always puts on such beautiful events, and Jennifer and Mike's wedding was no exception. Every detail was just right.

There was a moment during the day when Jennifer said something that really stuck with me. She told me that she didn't think she needed the wedding, didn't think she needed that piece of paper - but now that she did it, it felt so different. She was so happy. That moment was so special to me, and I loved that I got to be there to witness it and celebrate with them.

Here's the thing - there weren’t any October dates left, so they booked the big day for November. They were essentially gambling on this crazy Michigan weather, and when I tell you it was the most perfect day? I mean it. The weather was absolutely amazing. We had clouds and then the sun would peek out for the most beautiful golden hour light. The temperature was perfect. The fall leaves were still hanging on in the trees. Everything came together like a dream.

Jennifer and Mike, thank you for letting me be part of your day. Watching you two celebrate your love with all your favorite people was truly special, and I'm so glad you took the leap and made it official. Your day was absolutely perfect.
