Caroline + Cole | Sargent Farm | Ida, MI

Caroline and Cole are the most adorable couple, so in love and so much planning went into this incredible day. Cole's mom is an amazing photographer and one of my best friends and business partners. Being trusted to photograph such a major milestone for another photographer's family is always the ultimate honor, it's such a meaningful sign of trust that I never take lightly.

I first met Cole and Caroline for their engagement session last year, and it was honestly one of my favorites of all time. They are just so easy together, I don't really know how else to explain it. There's such a natural ease in the way they interact and the way they love each other that makes everything feel effortless.

These two grew up together, and Caroline had the sweetest story in her vows about making Cole cupcakes and bringing them to school, just for him to be absent that day! That line was so funny, but also really highlighted how these two have truly grown up together. But more than that, it showed how they've also grown their love and woven their lives together in the most beautiful way. This celebration was a true testament to that journey.

Their wedding took place at Caroline's family's Longhorn farm, and every single inch of the property had been lovingly cared for by family. Caroline's mom even converted Caroline's old bedroom into the most perfect bridal suite! The thoughtfulness from the start of the day to the very end was almost overwhelming.

Every detail was so carefully thought out, and you could tell that everything had Caroline's special touch. From the adorable puppy on their wedding cake to the stunning florals in the tent's chandelier to planting a unity tree together during their ceremony, it was all so uniquely them. They even released butterflies at the end of the ceremony, which was absolutely beautiful and so much fun to witness. And...don't get me started on that mechanical bull.

One of my favorite moments was their arrival in classic cars. Caroline and her dad pulled up in the most gorgeous red car with Caroline perched on top holding a beautiful lace parasol. It was like something out of a fairytale!

Wedding days can feel so crazy and sometimes it seems like everything is over in the blink of an eye. But I want Caroline to know that none of these incredible details went unnoticed. The celebration of their love was so incredibly beautiful, from the intimate family touches to the grand romantic gestures.

Cole and Caroline, your day was absolutely perfect. Your love, the thoughtfulness of every detail, and the way your families came together to create something so magical made this wedding truly unforgettable.
