Bryan + Ileene | Detroit Winter Wedding
So, full disclosure...Bryan is my cousin (and Ileene now too!) So when they asked if I would photograph their wedding I was thrilled! I hadn't planned on shooting any weddings this close to my due date, but how could I not for these two?!
The day started with them getting ready at the incredible Westin Book Cadillac Detroit Hotel. The hotel is absolutely stunning, and provided a great backdrop for their morning. I love that Bryan and Ileene chose to do a first look, that moment between just the two of them was pure love and excitement. Their ceremony and dinner took place at La Dolce Vita in Detroit, and it did not disappoint. They were blessed with a balmy 40-something degree day in February, which meant a gorgeous outdoor ceremony! Surrounded by their parents and officiated by cherished family friend, Judge Joseph Longo, they became husband and wife. Big weddings are so fun, but small weddings. Small Weddings, y'all. There is just something so special about two people choosing to start life together in front of just their closest friends/family. This day was truly an honor to be a part of. Bryan and Ileene, I wish you two a million congratulations and a lifetime of happiness!
