I have to tell you about Alexa and David's wedding, because honestly? What a way to end my 2025 wedding season.
This was my last wedding of the year, and it could not have been more perfect. I mean, have you ever seen a late November wedding that looked this beautiful? The weather cooperated in the best way possible for this time of year, and everything about the day just came together so perfectly.
Let's start with Alexa's dress. Oh my goodness, her dress. It was absolutely stunning - one of those dresses that just takes your breath away the moment you see it. She looked like an absolute dream, and watching her get ready with her bridesmaids and mom was so special. The excitement, the joy, the anticipation - it was all there.
But it wasn't just the dress. Every single detail of this day had such perfect, thoughtful touches. It was cozy in all the right ways - you could feel the warmth and love from the moment you walked in. It was festive without being over the top. It was fun and celebratory while still feeling so incredibly personal and intimate. Alexa and David managed to create this atmosphere that was just...them.
Speaking of Alexa and David - these two are just the sweetest people. So kind, so genuine, so in love. From the first time I met them, I knew their wedding day was going to be something special. And their families? Just as wonderful. You could tell how loved and supported these two are, and that made the entire day even more beautiful to witness.
The ceremony was one of my favorites ever. It was so heartfelt and personal. David's sister officiated, and let me tell you, she did an absolutely amazing job. The way she spoke about Alexa and David, the personal stories she shared, the love and emotion in her voice - it was perfect. There wasn't a dry eye in the room.
And then the reception! Their wedding party absolutely kept that dance floor packed. The energy was incredible - people were having the time of their lives celebrating Alexa and David. The love and joy in that room was just contagious. Everyone was so happy to be there, and you could tell.
But can we talk about the icing on the cake? The late night Taco Bell delivery. I mean, come on. That's just genius. Nothing says "best day ever" quite like ending your wedding celebration with some late night Taco Bell with all your favorite people. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
Alexa and David, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day and for letting me be part of such an incredible celebration. You two created the most beautiful day, and I'm so honored I got to document it all. What a way to end my wedding season - I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Here's to you two and to all the amazing adventures ahead.
